Sylvie

"Sylvie" is an original weaving using natural wool, raffia, and sculptural floral appliqués. The weaving is woven entirely by hand and then hand embellished. The floral elements were created with mesh and gold beading. The weaving is sewn onto a wooden dowel with hanging hardware attached. 

The Bespoke Collection was conceptualized when I challenged myself to manipulate unconventional materials into delicate and luxurious weavings. I took inspiration from fashion houses and loved transforming traditionally rigid materials into fluid pieces.

"Sylvie" measures 12" W x 15" H.
