I LOVE teaching block printing and seeing all of the incredible pieces my students make. I also love the way they light up and say, "my [daughter, friend, kids, etc] would love this!" After hearing this a few times I figured it was high time I compiled a list of block printing materials you can use at home to continue to stoke you and your loved ones' creativity.

To make the blocks:
- Rectangular blocks
- Square blocks
- Sticky back foam
- Scissors -- any pair will do, but I like this for more detailed cuts
- X-acto Knife (for getting into any tight quarters)
Paint Supplies:
Surfaces: Here are a few ideas to get you started. I recommend printing on cotton or linen fabrics for the best results. I wash and iron everything prior to printing for crisp, clean prints.
