Faye

"Faye" is an original weaving using two colors of raffia. The weaving was woven entirely by hand on an axis and then flipped to achieve the fringe effect. The weaving is sewn onto a wooden dowel. 

The Bespoke Collection was conceptualized when I challenged myself to manipulate unconventional materials into delicate and luxurious weavings. I took inspiration from fashion houses and loved transforming traditionally rigid materials into fluid pieces.

"Faye" measures 12" W x 25" H.
