Lauren

"Lauren" is an original woven wall hanging using natural wood and a blend of alpaca yarn, wool roving, and velvet fabric. The neutral background gives way to the organic cloud-like shape created from the wool roving intertwined with the velvet fabric. This piece is incredibly soft to the touch and will add texture and whimsy to your walls.

The Neutral Collection originated as a way for me to find a sense of calm in my every day life. I did not anticipate the chaos that 2020 would bring, but creating calm was just what I needed this year. I was inspired by lush materials, rich textures, and soft color palettes to create a collection of pieces. Even with a limited color palette, I wanted to use a variety of materials and techniques to create this collection. The materials range from rich velvets, silky alpaca wool, natural cotton rope, delicate wooden beads, to hand dyed coffee filters, and everything in between. There are a variety of sizes, textures, and weaving techniques to create pieces that feel uniquely you!
