Since I started weaving eight years ago, I've wanted to share this amazing craft with other people. I love teaching as a way to introduce people to the art of weaving. While I realize I can't personally teach every person in the world, I've come up with a few ways to share my knowledge with as many people as possible! I teach in person workshops, I have an online course that teaches you how to create a woven wall hanging start to finish, and I have weaving patterns and kits to keep the fun going.
In Person Workshops
If you're local to Denver, and looking to get into weaving, I highly recommend taking one of my Intro to Weaving workshops. They are a great way to meet new people, get individualized instruction, and learn how to weave! I offer two options, a full take home kit that includes your own loom and tools to keep weaving at home, or the supplies needed to complete your piece if you're just looking to dabble. You can always purchase the full kit at the end of class if you fall in love. The full kit also includes access to the e-course version of Intro to Weaving that you can reference as you continue to weave on your own.
You can find my current workshop schedule here.
Online Course
Like I said before, as much as I would love to teach everyone, I know it's just not feasible. If you aren't local to Denver, you can take the online version of Intro to Weaving! This is the filmed version of the in-person workshops and gives you step-by-step instructions to complete a wall hanging of your own. It also includes a kit with the loom, tools, and fibers you need. You can take the class at your own pace and will have the supplies to complete additional pieces in the future! You can also access the course whenever you'd like as a refresher.
