My Favorite Frames

Do you have a stack of artwork in your home that is just waiting to be framed or is it just me? If you are brave enough to admit you need help framing and don't know where to start, I've got you! I am a former designer turned artist, so I like to consider myself a bit of a frame connoisseur.

I'm always looking for a good quality frame without breaking the bank. As the unofficial queen of champagne taste and beer budget, I've found plenty that fit the bill!

One of my favorite tricks for making art look super expensive is purchasing a frame with an oversized mat. This means the cut out for the artwork matches the size of your piece, but the mat is much larger giving it a gallery appearance. This trick not only maximizes the impact on the wall using a smaller piece, but it also gives you a high end look without exceeding your budget.
