How To Style A Piece Of Art That Is Slightly Too Small For A Space
Share
If you've ever hung a piece of art and thought it didn't feel quite right for the space, chances are it is too small. Not to worry! I have a trick to make art feel larger in a space if you are 100% sold on it's current location.
Remember, we are looking for a piece that is 2/3 the width of the furniture below. A way to trick the eye is to fill the visual void so the overall vignette fills the entire 2/3 gap. You can do this by adding sconces, smaller pieces of art, or even drapery to make the space appear smaller!
I go into further detail with some real life examples in this video. And if you're looking for more art styling tips or ideas, get my FREE styling guide here.
